How long does it take to change accountants?

Transitioning to a new accountant typically takes between 24 hours to a couple of weeks. Once we decide to work together, I’ll guide you through the onboarding steps within a day. After completing these steps, I’ll handle the necessary checks and request professional clearance from your previous accountant. A realistic timeframe for the entire process is about 2-3 weeks. How much does it cost to work with you?

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer, but to give you an idea:

• Sole trader accounts: Start from £450 per year.
• Small Limited Company accounts: Start at £110 per month.

While I may not be the cheapest option in Burntwood, my packages are designed to provide the extra support you need.

Can we meet face-to-face in Burntwood?

Absolutely! While many clients prefer to communicate over WhatsApp, other clients appreciate the value of in-person meetings. The packages are designed to suit what your support needs are; if you would like an in person detailed review of your accounts, you can.

Can I contact you if I need to speak to you?

Drumroll…. Yes! I pride myself on being responsive and available. You won’t experience ghosting or unanswered calls. I’m here to support you and will be on the end of a phone call or email when you need me.

Will my current accountant know I have contacted you?

No, I would only contact your current accountant after we had agreed to work together and once, I have received written permission to do so. Until you have done so, no contact will ever be made.

What is a discovery call and do I have to commit to working with you?

A discovery call is a no pressure, 15-minute call, so I can find out more about you and your business. A discovery call is all about seeing if we are a good fit, both ways. If you’re not confident I can help you, it doesn’t make sense to work together.

Can we work together still if I am halfway through my accounting period?

Of course, you can change accountants at any point. If you have immediate deadlines within the next few weeks, it makes sense getting these submitted. But after that I can onboard you at any point, there will be an alignment fee to bring you up to date, then a monthly package moving forward.
